What is Autism?
Autism, or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, and difficulty with sensory integration, speech and nonverbal communication. People with Autism are diverse, and present with a range of gifts and challenges. It must be diagnosed by a physician, or psychologist.
